Since 1966, The Oakridge Optimist Baseball Association has been operated by The Optimist Club of Oakridge Acres Inc. Our baseball program is one of three sporting programs offered by the Optimist Club including soccer and hockey. The Oakridge Optimist Baseball Executive is a board of dedicated people comprised mainly of volunteers from the Oakridge community who believe in the development of youth within the sport of baseball. 2010 Online Registration is now Open!
Registration is for the 2010 season is now open online. Please note, registration fees for House Leagues and Competitive Leagues vary by age category.

Important Information for Competitive Player Registration
Again this year, the Competitive programs of the Byron Optimist and Oakridge Optimist Associations have merged. All players must be registered in their respective associations by the LDBA competitive registration deadline.
Please note:
- As per the London District Baseball Association rules, all players wishing to play competitive baseball must register by the March 15th competitive registration deadline.
- All competitive registrants are subject to a surcharge that will be collected by the team coach prior to your first game.

2010 London Majors Camps
The London Majors are offering week long baseball camp at Labatt Park. Players will be provided with instruction and drills that are designed to challenge them and improve upon their fundamental skills.

Larry Fisher coached many years for Oakridge Optimist Baseball and in doing so drew the attention of many as an exemplary coach. In memory of Larry and his contributions to coaching, The Oakridge Optimist Baseball Association created the Larry Fisher "Coach of the Year" award. The Larry Fisher “Coach of the Year” Award is an award presented to an Oakridge Optimist Baseball Association coach by the Executive Committee on an annual basis. From year to year nominations are welcomed and considered when selecting our recipient.
2009 Larry Fisher “Coach of the Year” Award goes to Pat Caron.
Pat is a long time coach with the Oakridge Optimist Baseball program and a well deserving winner of this award! Congratulation Pat!
