Since 1966, The Oakridge Optimist Baseball Association has been operated by The Optimist Club of Oakridge Acres Inc. Our baseball program is one of two sporting programs offered by the Optimist Club which also includes soccer. The Oakridge Optimist Baseball Executive is a board of dedicated people comprised mainly of volunteers from the Oakridge community who believe in the development of youth within the sport of baseball. Congratulations to the Oakridge #1 Pee Wee Team

Pee Wee "A" division House League Champs
The Oakridge #1 Pee Wee team captured the "A" division House League championship with a thrilling 7-6 victory over Byron #1 in the final played on August 8th. Oakridge 1 entered the year end tournament as the number 3 seed and defeated Strathroy twice; St. Thomas Formet and St. Thomas Yurek to get to the final. In the final game.

Congratulations to the Oakridge Major Rookieball team!
On the weekend June 19-20th, the team traveled to Goderich, Ontario to participate in the John O’Keefe Memorial Tournament.

The players on the team played an excellent tournament winning all 5 of their games and place first overall!. The team played excellent baseball, demonstrating spectacular offense and defense. A good time was had by all.

Oakridge Major Bantams win Chatham Tournament !
To complete a fantastic Chatham Minor Baseball Association Tournament, the Oakridge Major Bantam team beat the Windsor Titans 3 – 2 in the final. Cheered on by their loyal fans, the Oakridge team won with a true team effort by all their players. They should be very proud.
